Anne Story - Profile
Anne lived in the City of Calgary for most of her early life. Anne now resides in Millarville, where she delights in the abundant wildlife, including moose and bears. One summer, a bear even made her backyard its home for a week. While it was an incredible experience to witness, she was relieved when it eventually moved on. Anne has a passion for downhill skiing and biking in the majestic Rocky Mountains.
Anne entered the University of Calgary in 1982 and obtained a degree in Sociology and Political Science in 1986 (with honors). She then entered the University of Calgary Law School in 1987. Anne transferred to the University of Alberta for her final year of Law School, graduating in 1990.
Divorce and family law has been the main area in which Anne has practiced for most of her legal career and this is the only kind of law that she now practices.
Anne has litigated issues involving family law and custody in all of the levels of Court in Canada including the Supreme Court of Canada.
Anne is an advocate for animal protection and has been involved in animal rescue most of her life.
